Another month goes by.  It takes that long just to get a chance to get in to talk with Dr. Wu.  We were able to set up some quiet time to discuss the future of breast implants.  We also discussed the competition that goes on between Mentor and Allergan/Inamed.  Allergan has been a great direct-to-consumer marketing company.  They started out as an eye drop company, but botox for them has exploded.  It gave them power to take over other products in the cosmetic industry.  Other products from Allergan include drugs that extend eyelashes, fillers, and now breast implants.  They are marketing their breast implants as Natrelle breast implants.  They have plans to give patients incentives to participate in the Natrelle Silicone implant studies.  They are considering paying the patient to be part of the study.

Silicone is back.  Both Mentor and Allergan are making silicone breast implants a house hold name.

Why did I pick Veronas to have the little get together?  Because it was quieter than some of the other restaurants in downtown Modesto, such as Galletto, Vito's, and Bacchus

We still love those Mentor breast implants, and other Mentor products such as NIA 24, skin care line and having them be distributors of Scar Guard.  Come to our office and see all the choices you will have.
